Some folks pay a lot of money to find this stuff out.

Read on, this is very interesting! Don't be overly sensitive!
The following is pretty accurate. And it only takes 2 minutes.

Take this test for yourself and send it to your friends, the
one who sent it, and let them know who you are.

The person who sent it placed their score in the subject
box. Please do the same before forwarding to your friends. Don't peek but begin the test as you scroll down and answer. Answers are for who you are now, not who you were in the past. Have pen or pencil and paper ready. This is a real test Relations Dept. at many of the major corporations today. It helps them get better insight concerning their employees and prospective employees.

It's only 10 simple questions, so...... grab a pencil and
paper, keeping track of your letter answers. (a) 2 (b) 4 (c) 6
2. (a) 6 (b) 4 (c) 7 (d) 2 (e) 1
3. (a) 4 (b) 2 (c) 5 (d) 7 (e) 6
4. (a) 4 (b) 6 (c) 2 (d) 1
5. (a) 7 (b) 6 (c) 4 (d) 2 (e) 1
10. (a) 4 (b) 2 (c) 3 (d) 5 (e) 6 (f) 1

OVER 60 POINTS: Others see you as someone they should "handle with care".
You're seen as vain, self-centered, and who is extremely dominant. Others may admire you, wishing they could be more like you, but don't always trust you, hesitating to become too deeply involved with you.

51 TO 60 POINTS: Others see you as an exciting, highly volatile, rather impulsive personality; a natural leader, who's quick to make decisions, though not always the right ones. They see you as bold and
adventuresome, someone who will try anything once; someone who takes chances and enjoys an
adventure. They enjoy being in your company because of the excitement you radiate.

41 TO 50 POINTS: Others see you as fresh, lively,
charming, amusing, practical, and always interesting; someone who's constantly
in the center of attention, but sufficiently well-balanced not to let it go to
their head. They also see you as kind, considerate, and understanding; someone who'll always cheer them up and help them out.

31 TO 40 POINTS: Others see you as sensible, cautious, careful & practical. They see you as clever, gifted, or talented, but modest. Not a person who makes friends too quickly or easily, but someone who's extremely loyal to friends you do make and who expect the same loyalty in return. Those who really get to know you realize it takes a lot to shake your trust in your
friends, but equally that it takes you a long time to get over it if that trust is ever broken.

21 TO 30 POINTS: Your friends see you as painstaking and fussy. They see you as very cautious, extremely careful, a slow and steady plodder. It would really surprise them if you ever did something impulsively or on the spur of the moment, expecting you to examine everything carefully from every angle and then, usually decide against it. They think this reaction is caused partly by your careful nature.

UNDER 21 POINTS: People think you are shy, nervous, and indecisive, someone who needs looking after, who always wants someone else to make the decisions who doesn't want to get involved with anyone or anything. They see you as a worrier who always sees problems that don't exist. Some people think you're boring. Only those who know you well know that you aren't.

Now forward this to others, and put your score in subject box.

Monday, February 25, 2002

Do you ever wonder why there are so many lawyer jokes?

And do your wonder where do we get the morons for
juries and judges?

Ever since a jury ordered McDonald's to pay more than
$2m in damages to 81-year-old Stella Liebeeck after
she spilled coffee and scalded herself, the "Stella"
award has been annually granted to the person who
successfully brings the most ridiculous lawsuit in the
US.

There are plenty to choose from in 2001.

*Carl Truman, of Los Angeles, won $74,000 and medical expenses from a neighbour who drove his car over Truman's hand. Truman was lying on the ground, out of sight, stealing the neighbour's hubcaps.

*Burglar Terrence Dickson, from Pennsylvania, lived
for eight days on Pepsi and dry dog biscuits after a
faulty electric door trapped him in the garage of the
home he had just robbed. The homeowner was ordered to pay $500,000 for Dickson's mental anguish.

*Jerry Williams, of Little Rock, Arkansas, was awarded
$14,500 after being bitten by a beagle chained in its
owner's yard. Williams had climbed into the yard and
was shooting the beagle with a pellet gun.

*A Philadelphia restaurant had to pay $113,500 to
Amber Carson after she injured herself by slipping on
a can she had thrown on the floor during an argument
with her boyfriend.

And, la piece de resistance...

*Kara Walton, of Delaware, won $12,000 and dental
expenses from a nightclub after falling from a
bathroom window. The accident happened as she was
trying to climb through the window to avoid paying the $3.50 entrance fee."

Tuesday, January 15, 2002

Hello!

Mel Smith, one of our Men's Club members, is hosting a special White
Elephant party this coming Saturday:

TIME: Saturday, January 19, 2002 -- 7PM
PLACE: 3869 Gillespie Drive, Carrollton, TX (214) 529-7995

What is a White Elephant Party you ask? We do this twice a year for Easter and Grandma's birthday.

Patrick has been busy caring for his mother and looking after the house & grounds.

I (David) am still with the government, but have changed agencies. My hours are now 3:30-Midnight. It has been a minor adjustment, but has worked out fairly well so far.

For our anniversary this year, we traded up for diamonds on new wedding bands. Patrick said we could ignore the 2-year hiatus, keep our original anniversary, & celebrate 8 glorious (& interesting) years together!

There really isn't much else to report. That is my excuse for extended absences. Please feel free to ask us anything at all. We promise to answer promptly.

We appreciate each and every one of you.

HAVE A GREAT DAY!

Big hugs!

David & Patrick & Maxie The Wonderdog

Sunday, August 12, 2001

Weekend Greetings!

I apologize for staying away so long. Work has been rather demanding. I haven't had much spare time that isn't already spoken for lately. Bedtime comes shortly after dinner each night. Life can get rather 'ugly' if I don't get my 'beauty-sleep'. I've had to adjust my priorities accordingly.

All things considered, life is going well here at the Love Nest. We're all happy & healthy. Both cars are fully functional again (YAY!). Things are going very well at my work. We're still working 6 days per week, but the hours have gone from 12 down to a slightly more reasonable 10.

Remodeling on the house is on hold while we cook up a plan to construct an out-building for storage, tools, workshop, etc. Having space to stack the furniture & stuff out of the weather is a MUST before we can finish the flooring. The garage was in a sad state and was taken down shortly before we bought & moved here. The storage issues we've had since day one have now reached a critical stage demanding action.

I truly miss chatting and interacting with my cyber-friends in here. Please feel free to drop us a line or two anytime. Patrick keeps an eye on the e-mail and alerts me to personal messages from friends needing a reply.

We're still smiling & hope you are too!

Great big hugs & love to all!

David & Patrick & Maxie!

Sunday, July 01, 2001

YAY! I'M WORKING AGAIN!

I'm having to be cautious not to go into 'culture shock'. After several weeks of being seriously 'under-employed', I've now gone to the opposite extreme of almost being 'over-employed'.

I landed a really cool government job & we are working some CRAZY hours! Right now, we're pulling 12-hour shifts 7 days week to get us through a peak 'crunch' period.

I will update you as I can, but right now I'm spending very little time online--gotta get my beauty sleep! LOL!

I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your kind words of encouragement & continued good thoughts. It has paid off BIG TIME! I love you guys!

HAVE A GREAT DAY!

Big hugs from David & Patrick!

Sloppy doggy kisses from Maxie!

Saturday, June 23, 2001

Thanks guys for all the support and kind words of encouragement. I appreciate all of you SO MUCH!

I got 'shot down' on the hospital job, but still may get called back for a 2nd interview by the architect. I'm listed with 3 different headhunter agencies, but none of them have found anything yet. The only activity has been stuff I've dug up for myself out of the 'want ads'.

I received a fairly generous severance package from my old job & there's still money coming in. Patrick keeps telling me not to worry & above all not to get desperate & just grab the 1st decent offer.

All things considered, life is pretty good right now. We still have our happy 'house-full'. We all get along & the competition for the bathroom has not been a problem. Patrick is at the vet's right now with Maxie for her allergy shot. Yours truly needs to give her a bath later today.

Continuous crossing of fingers is appreciated, but not required. Please keep thinking good thoughts. The power of a positive mental attitude is awesome!

Big hugs!

HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND!

David

Thursday, June 14, 2001

Please cross your fingers & keep thinking good thoughts!
